Adapted from the novel which won Italy's most prestigious literary award, this coming of age film set in Turin in 1938 is a top of the line production about love, hope and the cost of making decisions without thinking about the consequences. Monica Belluci's daughter stars, so beautiful indeed.

Set in 1938 Turin, this lyrical coming-of-age story follows a young working-class woman navigating the throes of burgeoning adulthood amidst a tumultuous backdrop of pre-WWII Italy.
Young seamstress Ginia (played by Yile Yara Vianello,who was in last years LA CHIMERA) has recently arrived from the countryside with her brother and the future seems to offer endless possibilities. She gets a job with a prestigious fashion house and earns the respect of the demanding boss.
Ginia meets the sensual, provocative and seemingly free spirit that is Amelia (the impossibly beautiful Deva Cassel-daughter of Monica Belluci and Vincent Cassel--so not that impossible) and is further plunged into Turin's bohemian and artistic world. Amelia teases Ginia's shyness out of here.
